As our passion for travel increases and our workloads similarly increase, I\u2019ve found the following questions essential to ask in efforts of creating a comfortable workplace\u2014wherever, whenever!<\/p>\n

What is essential to your common workspace?<\/strong> Considering what is essential to your normal work routine is a great start to creating a workspace anywhere\u2014whether physically or mentally.<\/em> What type of music makes you work best? What type of scent is best for your work efficiency? What type of clothes do you work best in?<\/li>\n
2. How can you easily transport those essentials nationally\/internationally?<\/strong> When you travel internationally or establish your workspace in a new area, consider the ease of acquiring those essentials. Is it easier to bring those essentials with you? Alternatively, do you have to purchase those essentials in your new area or new city? For example, sticky Notes are essential to me, but I found it easier to buy them at home versus buying them in the new city where I\u2019d reside.<\/li>\n
3. How can you sustain your essential patterns in your personal workspace anywhere? <\/strong>Working in Los Angeles differs from working in Las Vegas, and working in Shanghai differs from working in Buenos Aires or London, but one thing that you must maintain is the efficiency of your work.<\/em> How can you maintain your work patterns when you\u2019re away from home for long periods of time or if you have an assignment to tackle out of nowhere? Whether it\u2019s praying before you start your work or ending your day with tackling important work tasks, allocate thought to ways you can sustain efficient work patterns in your personal workspace.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

   Ultimately, become one with who you are and how you work, identify the essential factors that creates an efficient workspace<\/strong>. Without fear of possible adjustment, if you work best at night, work at night. If you work best in the morning, work in the morning. Specifically, when working internationally and finding your rhythm, you will find value in knowing how you work best and knowing who you are. Not to say that you won\u2019t grow or evolve, but, strive to understand your work rhythm.<\/p>\n
