(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home2/thejosh3/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6121When in Las Vegas, Lyfe Kitchen may be that restaurant to rekindle my relationship with health-conscious lifestyle choices–encouraging me to LOVE MY FOOD EVERYDAY. For the past few years, comically–yet seriously–I have been in an on-again-off-again relationship with healthy dietary choices. Although the only person I can blame is myself, whilst in Vegas I rarely find locations with food options that will suffice in the “delicious” department, as I did with Henderson’s The District’s Lyfe Kitchen.

The Food: In mentioning to a friend that I wanted to try a new place in Vegas that served healthy foods, she recommended that we try Lyfe Kitchen. After menu research, I decided that this would definitely be a desirable place. Within the first bite of my “Ancient Grain Stir-Fry” order, I knew I made the right decision. Luckily, I don’t suffer from the stigma of believing that healthy food must be unpleasing (as I reported, I’ve been in a on-again-off-again relationship with this food group for a while, so I’ve had good experiences), nevertheless, I was thoroughly pleased with wide range of food selections. Lyfe Kitchen has an all-star team of culinary professionals, expressed in a May 28, 2014 article with Las Vegas Weekly, including “Oprah pal and Top Chef Masters contestant Art Smith; Tal Ronnen, the chef who created the mandatory vegan menus at Steve Wynn’s restaurants; and recent Chopped champion Jeremy Bringardner as executive chef.” Everything was fresh, filled with flavor, and fulfilling! The sweet potato fries added the clutchest of touches!

The Establishment: Lyfe Kitchen drives its story on a set of beliefs and values that distinguishes the location on Vegas’ terrain of restaurants. Pivoted on the belief that with “One Bite. Everything changes,” the Lyfe Kitchen team integrates its years of corporate experience and open embrace of social responsibility. With over 17 locations, Lyfe Kitchen strives to mobilize #grayt food as a vehicle to, “Support local farms. Promote sustainability. Reward environmentally sound businesses. Give back to the community.”
